
Due to her characteristic and very recognizable style of drawing, Fiep had gained quite a reputation in the 1950s. As well as making illustrations for books, newspapers and magazines, she was also asked to made drawings for various advertising campaigns. Fiep made a series of drawings for advertisements and posters for Big Ben rainwear, designed advertisements and packaging for Adelaar’s soap products and for Nivea, and made a series of posters and brochures for KLM’s international advertising campaigns in 1955 and 1956.
