De Ijsmuts van Prins Karel

Once again, Fiep collaborated with Han G. Hoekstra to produce a book of verse with her  illustrations: 'De IJsmuts van Prins Karel en nog veel meer'. This time the illustrations were  not in colour, but consisted of subtle pencil and pen drawings. Only the cover had a colour  illustration. Twenty years later, the compiler and graphic designer of the book about Fiep’s life and work called 'Getekend: Fiep Westendorp' thought this illustration was so striking and original that they decided to use it for the cover.
